Therefore, is an informal adjective used in Bangla for habitual greed. Hanglaatherium is a market leader for low-fat biryani in Kolkata.

A Journey

This journey starts with a wonderful bit of mouth- watering :

Dilli 6

                                                             



Dilli 6 chicken is a very unusual dish sold in a shop in Jama Masjid area of Delhi. Tandoori chicken sans the orangish masala, I guess curd to marinate, & a whole pond full of butter. I think I eat less amount of butter in a full month than the amount of butter in 1 portion of the dish!!! Sure recipe for fatty liver if someone falls in love with this dish but it's of course unmissable once in a blue moon. Since there is no masala on the face, meaty flavours of the chicken & the charred ends made up most of the flavour. The butter transformed the ordinary dish to extraordinary.

Mutton Biriyani with Chicken Chaap

                                                       



Mutton Biryani is a delightful combination of chunky mutton pieces with fragrant, long grain basmati rice and aromatic spices, which is irresistible. Indeed the rice grains are the long and best quality. Evidently, the dum pukht technique allows the aromatic juices from the mutton to ooze into the rice and potato. Also, the biryani is prepared with sunflower oil to keep it non-greasy and light. However, I prefer the meat a little softer. And alongside the Chicken Chaap was a wholesome tender and a gigantic piece of a mouth watering tasty chicken.

Butter Naan with Paneer Butter Masala 

                       






One of my favourite combo of all time Naan a type of Indian Bread alongwith Paneer Butter Masala which is tender and soft chunks of cottage in a gravy of butter and Indian spices is just too awsome. And it's no different over here too.

Shahi Tukra
                                                       

The show stopper of the meal. Since we are bengalis, we are addicted to eat deserts after all of this heavy meal. So I ate Shahi Tukra, it's a Pakistani sweet dish where a piece of bread is dipped and dripped inside a sweet syrup of milk, pistacios, saffron and other dry fruits ingridents. It is a must try in Hanglaatherium, atleast for once.


Conclusion

All the dishes are must try but I personally recommend : Dilli6 and Shahi Tukra were just wow in Hanglaatherium. It's pocket friendly and a great option to explore in a place like New Town.
